John is a friend who doesn't just show up, but shows up when if matters most.
Over the years, John has supported me in ways that have genuinely shaped who I've become. Whether through his steady presence during challenging times, his thoughtful advice when I've needed it, or simply his swillingness to listen withouth udgement, he's made a real difference in my life.
Like the time he taught me about time management (ask anyone who knows me and they'll tell you it's something I'm still working on.) It was powerful coming from hi mcuz he was the guy who in college would go to sleep early (like 8:30pm) and get up at something ridiculous (like 4am) to start his day and help run the operations of a full fledged business (marketing, operations, training new employees, everything) while also maintaining to nail grades, lead an organize a student group and even excel at dating. The man did so much! So when he spoke, I listened.
What stands out most is how he leads by example. His commitment to doing the right thing, even when it's difficult, has pushed me to be better. His encouragement has helped me take risks I might otherwise have avoided, and his belief in me has gotten me through moments of doubt.
In short, friends like John remind us that some of the greatest girst we receive aren't things - they're people who invest in us and help us grow.
